Daniel R. Jimenez was born on December 07, 1934 in Atotonilco El Bajo, Jalisco, Mexico. Embedded with this immense strength and drive, he began to work in the fields at the age of nine, sacrificing his education so that his family could have a plate to eat at the end of the day. That same love and dedication that drove him to work while barely a child would remain for the rest of his life. When he had a family of his own he vowed to provide them with the best. Daniel R. Jimenez immigrated to the United States so that he could work for higher wages to send to his wife and children in Mexico. After several years, he brought his entire family of eight to the US, but he did not stop there. Seeing the need of others back in Mexico, he helped them come into the country too. Daniel R. Jimenez was a man of great valor and perseverance. He lived a humble, hard-working life along with his family. Despite the harsh circumstances that would arise, he never lost faith and hope. Daniel R. Jimenez instilled that same strength, drive and perseverance into his family, that existed within him. He was a fighter and dreamer to his last day and his memory, love, acts of kindness and words of wisdom will live on forever.
